Our Story

Passionate about all things coffee, artisan pastries & play, Hali & Lulu opened its doors in 2023. Since becoming proud parents in 2021, we needed a banging coffee more than ever before and wanted to create an environment family friendly enough, where we could enjoy our daily coffee and also allow our cute energy stealers a space to be free.  

Hali & Lulu went on a journey to find the best roasters in London and after tasting a lot of coffee (this is how we got through the 2 under 2 stage) we found our roasters in the heart of Brixton. We are proud to be bringing the best coffee London has to offer to Potters Bar and are certain you'll get that eyes closed ahh feeling with every sip.  

We figured the last thing you would want whilst enjoying some quality time with your coffee & cake is a loud plastic toy screaming twinkle twinkle little star on repeat 10,000 times. That's where our Montessori inspired play area comes in. The Montessori method means your child will have the opportunity to get hands-on with 'real' toys. Playing but ultimately learning in a space that encourages their natural curiosity. It is proven that babies, toddlers and kids require childhood stimulation for brain development. It helps your baby reach developmental milestones faster, have better muscle regulation and have good motor coordination. Its a win win for the whole family!
